Lance Lynn allowed only 1 hit resulting in a big goose egg on the scoreboard
for Milwaukee at Miller Park where the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Milwaukee
Brewers by the score of 5 to 0.

Lynn(1-0) escaped virtually unscathed against the Milwaukee hitters. He
didn't allow much, just 1 hit and 8 walks in 9 innings. Lynn struckout 12
Milwaukee batters lowering his ERA from 8.31 to 4.08. St. Louis managed 10
hits in their victory.

Shaun Marcum(4-2) was hit with the loss. Lynn was humble when questioned
about his performance, 'Well, I felt pretty confident in my pitches this
afternoon. But, I had great support behind me and I just threw what was
called. That was an extremely well called game!'
