Third baseman Wilson Betemit cracked a homer as the Baltimore Orioles bested
the Houston Astros 4 to 3 at Minute Maid Park.
 
Miguel Gonzalez(3-3) gave a fine effort for Baltimore.  He allowed 3 hits and
2 walks in 7 innings.  Baltimore ended up with 11 hits for the game while
Houston had 4.  
 
Gonzalez got help from Jim Johnson who was credited with his 7th save.  Edgar
Gonzalez(0-2) was charged with the loss.  He surrendered 6 hits and 4 walks
in 5 and 1/3 innings.
