WEB GEMS- Bot 2nd: Dexter Fowler robbed Andre Ethier of a Homerun!

Hyun-Jin Ryu racked up an impressive total of 10 strikeouts and Adrian
Gonzalez hit a homerun and had 3 RBI as the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers smashed
the overmatched Colorado Rockies, 15 to 0.

Ryu(1-0) was indeed brilliant as he hand-cuffed the Colorado offense. He
allowed just 5 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings dropping his ERA from 9.00 to
3.21. Los Angeles(NL) bats were very productive in the 2nd inning which saw
them plate 9 runs on 10 hits. Los Angeles(NL) rapped out 19 hits for the
afternoon.

Jorge De La Rosa(1-2) was hit with the loss. When asked about his strikeout
total for the game, Ryu offered, 'The fan's really got into it. It is fun to
see them tally up the strikeout totals up there in the stands. Fortunately,
I kept them busy this afternoon - of course, it would be all for naught
without the 'W'.'
