Russell Martin connected with a 'big fly' and had 2 RBI as the Pittsburgh
Pirates defeated the Cincinnati Reds in 11 innings 9 to 4 at Great American
Bpk.

Both teams had scored 4 runs after nine full innings. Pittsburgh was
victorious in the 11th inning. The biggest moment was provided by Martin who
disappointed the partisan crowd when he popped a two-run clout over the
fence. Pittsburgh rapped out 9 hits for the afternoon.

Jason Grilli(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 and 1/3 innings and
allowing no runs. Logan Ondrusek(0-1) took the loss in relief. He pitched 1
inning and surrendered no hits and no walks.
