Anthony Rendon had 3 base hits and 2 RBI and Jordan Zimmermann went 9 strong
innings as the Washington Nationals defeated the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers by
the score of 6 to 2 at Nationals Park.
 
The game started off with Washington taking the lead in the first as they
scored 3 runs on 4 base hits.  That scoring would be all that was needed.
Washington managed 11 hits in their victory.  
 
The victory went to Zimmermann(4-1) who went the distance allowing 2 runs. The
losing pitcher was Chris Capuano(0-1).  'I've been working on a few things in
my delivery, and I think I'm hitting a good groove.' Zimmermann said after
the game.  'I'm ready to start another game tomorrow!'
