Roy Halladay struck out 10 batters and third baseman Corey Koskie cracked a
homer and had 3 RBI as the Toronto Bluejays outscored the Texas Rangers 10 to
5.

Halladay(1-1) pitched a solid game. He surrendered 10 hits and 1 walk in 9
innings and allowed 3 gopher balls. Toronto totaled 18 hits on the
afternoon.

The loss was charged to Kameron Loe(0-2). He gave up 7 runs in 5 innings of
work. When asked about his strikeout total for the game, Halladay offered,
'The fan's really got into it. It is fun to see them tally up the strikeout
totals up there in the stands. Fortunately, I kept them busy this afternoon
- of course, it would be all for naught without the 'W'.'
