Right fielder Brad Hawpe rocketed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Jason Hammel
was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete game at
Wrigley Field as the Colorado Rockies beat the Chicago (NL) Cubs by the count
of 9 to 2.

Hawpe had a big day against Chicago (NL). He rifled a three-run blast in the
7th inning and delivered a solo blast in the 9th inning. Both teams totaled
10 hits on the afternoon.

Hammel(2-1) allowed 2 runs on the game. Ryan Dempster(2-2) ended up with the
loss. He allowed 6 runs and 7 hits in 6 innings. The Colorado ballclub's
record now stands at 15-13. With this loss, Chicago (NL) has a 3-7 record of
late, 12-10 overall.
