It was a great finish at Nationals Park as the Washington Nationals pulled off
a dramatic comeback beating the San Francisco Giants by the count of 3 to
2.
Washington won the game with a rally in the 9th inning plating 2 runs using 3
hits. Adam Laroche started the inning off right when he doubled. Roger
Bernadina next to the plate and he doubled. Ian Desmond then slapped a
one-base hit. Desmond took second on the throw. Washington and San
Francisco each finished the afternoon with 6 hits.
The victory went to Drew Storen(1-0) who went 2 and 2/3 innings, allowing no
runs. Santiago Casilla(0-1) suffered the loss in relief. 'That was
exciting!,' Wilson Ramos said. 'I would have paid money to watch this one.'
