Henderson Alvarez(1-0)with relief help shutout Houston in a day game.  The
Toronto Bluejays scored 6 runs in a winning effort at Minute Maid
Park.
 
Alvarez pitched a fine game.  He went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 7 hits and 2
walks.  Toronto had 12 hits for the afternoon while Houston had 8.  
 
Wandy Rodriguez(1-2) was given the loss.  He was knocked around by Toronto,
allowing 10 hits and 2 walks in 5 and 2/3 innings.
