What a day for the Cleveland Indians! They shellacked the Houston Astros
pitching for 9 runs while Justin Masterson(1-0), with relief help from Tony
Sipp, mystified Houston.

Cleveland wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning when they
scored 2 runs on 1 hit. That early run support was all that Masterson
required. Cleveland had 11 hits overall, while Houston had 6.

Bud Norris(0-1) was charged with the loss. He was hit hard and gave up 8 hits
and 4 walks in 4 and 1/3 innings.
