Mulder and the St. Louis Cardinals coming out on top of the Houston Astros 3

Houston never recovered after St. Louis took the lead in the 5th inning
scoring one runner using 2 hits. St. Louis out-hit Houston for the game, 9
hits to 4.

Jason Isringhausen was credited with his 8th save. 'I just wanted to give my
team a chance to win.' said Mulder, 'I got burned on a couple of pitches. But
we won the game, and that's all that matters.'
