In a good matchup it was the Houston Astros 4, the Seattle Mariners 2 at
SAFECO Field.

Houston brought 3 runs across the plate in the top of the 2nd inning. That
early run support was enough for J.A. Happ(1-0) and Houston. The pitchers
took over after the 3rd inning as neither team was able to score again.

Happ was helped out by Matt Lindstrom who recorded his 1st save. Doug
Fister(0-1) was given the loss. He gave up 3 hits and 3 walks in 6 innings.
