35,610 fans watched an exciting game at Target Field. The Minnesota Twins
topped the Toronto Bluejays by the slimmest of margins, 3 to 2.

Both teams were tied at 2 runs apiece after nine innings. Minnesota was
victorious in the 13th inning. Jason Repko smacked a single. Michael
Cuddyer dug into the batters box next, but he struck out. After another out,
Nick Punto came to bat and reached on an error resulting in a mighty exciting
win for Minnesota and the 35,610 home town fans in attendance. Minnesota
ended up with 12 hits for the game while Toronto had 6.

Jon Rauch(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 2/3 of an inning and
allowing no runs. The loss was charged to Casey Janssen(0-1) in relief. It
was a tough loss for him as he did not allow an earned run in his 2 innings
of work.
