Left fielder Josh Willingham launched 2 homeruns as the Minnesota Twins beat
the Detroit Tigers by a score of 13 to 5.
 
Willingham had a great day at the plate.  He had the crowd cheering his every
move.  He belted a three-run homer in the 5th inning and launched a
rocket-shot out of the park for a Grand Slam homerun in the 6th inning.
Detroit was out-hit by Minnesota, 16 hits to 12.  
 
The victory went to Jared Burton(1-1) who went 2 and 1/3 innings, allowing no
runs. Rick Porcello(1-2) was charged with the loss.  He got hammered,
allowing 9 hits and 3 walks in 5 innings.
