Scott Diamond pitched a 3 hitter as the Minnesota Twins outscored the Houston
Astros 7 to 1.

Diamond(1-4) pitched one of his finer games as he simply was too much for the
Houston batters. He was stingy on the mound, allowing just 3 hits and 1 walk
in 9 innings. Minnesota had 12 hits for the afternoon.

Lucas Harrell(2-3) took the loss. When questioned about his counterpart after
the game, Harrell was lavish in his praise, 'It was obvious very early on
that we were going to be in for a long night. Diamond brought his 'A' game
with him - he had good stuff and was able to spot it perfectly. He probably
only made one or two bad pitches the entire game!
