Third baseman Nolan Arenado had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Colorado Rockies
bested the Philadelphia Phillies 6 to 4 at Citizens Bank Park.
 
Colorado had the winning rally in the 8th inning when they tallied 4 runs on 3
hits.  The crucial at-bat was provided by Arenado who quieted the crowd when
he laced a base-knock bringing in two baserunners.  Colorado had 12 hits for
the afternoon.  
 
Jeff Francis(1-0) went 7 innings allowing 2 runs for the win. Wilton Lopez
recorded the save, his 2nd.  John Lannan(0-1) was the loser.  He surrendered
5 runs and 10 hits in 8 innings.
