In a close game it was the Arizona club 4, the Pittsburgh Pirates 2 at Chase
Field.

The game started off with Arizona taking the lead in the first scoring 2 runs.
Martin Prado led off and got things going when he drew a walk. Gerrit Cole
then let one get away for a wild pitch. After an out was recorded, Paul
Goldschmidt then lifted one out of the park for a two run home run. Although
they lost, Pittsburgh did out-hit Arizona 7 to 4.

The victory was credited to Randall Delgado(1-0) who went 5 innings, allowing
2 runs. Heath Bell recorded the save, his 1st. Cole(0-2) was the losing
pitcher.

'He gutted it out' Craig Lombardi said of Delgado. 'I was very impressed by
his tenacity.'
