Shelby Miller shutout Chicago (NL) while allowing the St. Louis bullpen a
day-off as the St. Louis Cardinals bested the Chicago (NL) Cubs 6 to 0 at
Wrigley Field.
 
Miller(2-0) looked very much in control throughout the day. He didn't allow
much, just 5 hits and 3 walks in 9 innings reducing his ERA from 1.10 to
0.71.  St. Louis had a total of 14 hits for the game.  
 
Travis Wood(1-4) suffered the loss.  He pitched 6 innings allowing 6 hits and
no walks.
