Roger Clemens blanked Washington allowing just 3 hits and Craig Biggio smashed
2 homeruns at RFK STADIUM as the Houston Astros beat the Washington Nationals
7 to 0.

Biggio had a big day against Washington. He cracked a solo homerun in the 1st
inning, blasted a solo shot (his 4th of the season) in the 3rd inning and
lined a single in the 9th inning. Houston managed 12 in their victory.

Clemens(2-0) was credited with the shutout. Livan Hernandez(0-3) was the
losing pitcher. He allowed 3 homeruns in 8 innings of work.

'I thought it was my best performance in a long time,' said Clemens. 'I had
good command early in the game. I had my control and composure and everything
went well.'
