Orlando Cabrera went yard and had 2 RBI at Comerica Park as the Chicago (AL)
Whitesox beat the Detroit Tigers by the count of 6 to 5.

D.J. Carrasco(3-0) was the winning pitcher with a solid relief performance.
He didn't allow much, just 2 hits and no walks in 2 and 2/3 innings reducing
his ERA from 3.38 to 3.04. Detroit made it exciting in the 9th, but they
were unable to push the needed runs across.

Carrasco got help from Bobby Jenks who earned his 4th save. Zach Miner(0-1)
was given the loss. He was touched for 11 hits and 3 walks in 8 and 1/3
innings.

'Some losses are harder to take than others' Dave Murray lamented after the
game. 'This was one of them.'
