The Toronto Bluejays registered 5 runs in the 6th inning and edged the New
York (AL) Yankees at Rogers Centre by the score of 7 to 6.

Toronto came up with the deciding runs in the bottom of the 8th inning plating
2 runs. After an out was recorded, Alex Rios kicked off the action when he
drew a walk. Kevin Millar was next and he cleared the fences for a two-run
home run. Lyle Overbay then drew a walk. Rod Barajas followed and he
grounded into a double play. Jason Frasor relieved and was untouched by New
York (AL) as he recorded the save, his 2nd.

Roy Halladay(1-2) picked up the victory, allowing 6 runs in 8 innings. Jose
Veras(0-2) was given the loss in relief. He pitched 1 inning and surrendered
1 hit and 2 walks.

'I was a little good, a little bad and a little ugly.' said Halladay, 'I was
just giving us a chance to win.'
