At McAfee Coliseum, the Oakland fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel. Marc
Rzepczynski(1-0) finally bested his Oakland opposite, Brett Anderson(0-2), by
the score of 3 to 0.

Toronto claimed the early lead in the first inning plating one baserunner.
That was all the runs Rzepczynski needed. Both teams' bats went to sleep
after the 2nd inning with no runs scored after that point.

Jason Frasor was credited with his 1st save. Anderson suffered the loss. He
pitched 9 innings and surrendered just 6 hits and 1 walk.
