The Toronto Bluejays registered 4 runs in the 3rd inning and bested the
Oakland A's by a 5 to 2 score at Rogers Centre.

It was a good day for Toronto thanks to Adam Lind. He doubled in the 1st
inning and caught a hold of a fastball for a Grand Slam homerun in the 3rd
inning. Oakland out-hit Toronto 12 to 9, but Toronto ended up with more
runs.

Scott Richmond(1-0) went 5 innings allowing no runs for the win. Scott Downs
earned the save, his 1st. Vin Mazzaro(0-1) took the loss. He pitched 6
innings and surrendered 8 hits and 2 walks.
