The Los Angeles(AL) Angels edged the slumping Oakland A's at Angels Stadium by
the score of 5 to 4.

Los Angeles(AL) took the lead for good in the bottom of the 7th inning scoring
one runner. Howie Kendrick doubled. Chone Figgins came to the plate and
laid down a sacrifice bunt. Erick Aybar then hit a deep fly. Los
Angeles(AL) rapped out 7 hits for the afternoon.

The victory went to Kevin Jepsen(2-0) who went 1 and 1/3 innings, allowing no
runs. Jepsen got help from Brian Fuentes who was credited with his 1st save.
Gio Gonzalez(0-3) was charged with the loss.
