Brett Myers whiffed 10 batters at Dolphins Stadium where the Philadelphia
Phillies beat the Florida Marlins 1 to 0.

Myers(3-1) was very good in the win. He didn't give up much, just 4 hits and
3 walks in 8 innings. Philadelphia had just 3 hits for the afternoon.

Billy Wagner earned the save, his 5th. Ron Villone(1-1) was the loser in
relief. He pitched 2 innings giving up 2 hits and 1 walk.

Myers was asked about his big strikeout performance, 'Well, it's a little odd
when you rack up these numbers on the road - instead of cheers and a running
tally in the stands, everything gets real still and quiet. Just strange -
but it's nice to be able to take the crowd out of the game.'
