Right fielder Bobby Abreu lofted one into the 'cheap seats' and had 4 RBI and
Brett Myers was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game at Citizen's Bank Park where the Philadelphia Phillies beat the
San Diego Padres 8 to 1.

Abreu provided much of the offense. He clubbed a three-run home run (his 4th
of the season) in the 6th inning and banged out a single knocking in a run in
the 8th inning. Philadelphia finished with 10 hits in the victory.

The winning pitcher was Myers(4-1) who allowed 1 run for the game. Woody
Williams(0-1) was the losing pitcher. He surrendered 6 hits and 3 walks in 4
innings.
