The Minnesota Twins easily topped the Detroit Tigers; the final score was 11
to 5.

Justin Morneau had a big day at the plate. He doubled which plated a run in
the 1st inning and lofted a three-run bomb (his 4th of the season) in the 6th
inning. Minnesota finished with 15 hits while Detroit ended up with 11.

Scott Baker(3-2) got credit for the victory, pitching 7 and 2/3 innings and
allowing 1 run. Kenny Rogers(1-5) was tagged with the loss. He surrendered 4
runs and 7 hits in 5 innings.
