At Rogers Centre the Toronto Bluejays were battered 7 to 2 by the New York
(AL) Yankees.

New York (AL) set the tone of the game in the first inning when they scored 2
runs on 2 hits. The highlight belonged to Jason Giambi who silenced the
crowd when he doubled bringing in two baserunners. Despite losing, Toronto
out-hit New York (AL) 12 to 9.

The win went to Andy Pettitte(5-2) who allowed 1 run in 7 and 1/3 innings.
A.J. Burnett(2-6) was tagged with the loss. He allowed New York (AL) 6 runs
in 3 and 2/3 innings of work.
