At Rogers Centre the Detroit Tigers outscored the Toronto Bluejays in 15
innings 7 to 4.

The game was deadlocked at 4 after nine full innings. Detroit came out the
victor in the 15th inning. Brandon Inge led off and got things going when he
drew a walk. Don Kelly followed next and he lined a single. Austin Jackson
then laid down a sacrifice bunt. Johnny Damon followed and he was walked
intentionally to load the bases. Jhonny Peralta came up to bat and doubled.
Miguel Cabrera contributed to the rally and slapped a single. Magglio
Ordonez came next and he stroked a base-hit. Gerald Laird was a strikeout
victim, unable to help out. Detroit finished with 10 hits in the victory.

The win went to Jose Valverde(2-3) who allowed no runs in 2 and 2/3 innings.
Valverde got help from Robbie Weinhardt who earned his 1st save. Casey
Janssen(1-4) was the loser in relief. He was touched for 6 hits and 2 walks
in 2 and 1/3 innings.
