blistering-hot Texas Rangers won a dramatic crowd-pleaser over Seattle
Mariners at Rangers Ballpark pulling it out in their last at bats, 6 to
5.

The game was won by Texas when they scored a run in the bottom of the 9th
inning. Josh Hamilton cracked a solo homerun resulting in an exciting win
for Texas and a raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans. Texas
had a total of 12 hits for the game.

The win was credited to Derek Holland(2-1) who went 1/3 of an inning allowing
no runs. Brandon League(0-1) was the loser in relief. He gave up 1 run and 1
hit in 1 inning.
