Zack Greinke had a complete game at Target Field where the Kansas City Royals
beat the Minnesota Twins 9 to 2.

Kansas City scored 3 runs in the decisive top of the 2nd inning when they came
up with 3 base hits. Alex Gordon led off and keyed the rally when he
doubled. Mitch Maier was next and he drew a walk. One out later, Mike
Aviles dug into the batters box next, but he struck out. Gregor Blanco came
up and he doubled. Jason Kendall came up to bat and drew a walk. David
Dejesus kept the inning going and slapped a one-base hit. Billy Butler
stepped up next and he drew a walk to load the bases. Wilson Betemit got his
turn next, but he was a strikeout victim. That was all Greinke(4-4) needed.
Kansas City managed 15 hits in their victory.

The losing pitcher was Scott Baker(3-4). He got hit hard, allowing 6 hits and
4 walks in 2 innings.
