Joe Mauer had 2 base hits at Target Field where the Minnesota Twins beat the
Seattle Mariners 4 to 3.

In the 7th inning Minnesota scored 2 runs. Jason Repko led off and started
the attack as he drew a walk. Alexi Casilla was next and he laid down a
sacrifice bunt. Nick Punto then tripled. Felix Hernandez then threw a wild
pitch. Seattle made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the
needed runs across.

Jesse Crain(1-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 1/3 of an inning and
allowing no runs. Brian Fuentes recorded the save, his 5th. The loss was
charged to Hernandez(4-3).
