In a lop-sided win the Texas Rangers ripped the Boston Redsox by a 11 to 6
count.
 
Ian Kinsler made sure the Texas fans enjoyed themselves.  He doubled emptying
the bases in the 2nd inning, smacked a single in the 6th inning and delivered
a solo blast in the 8th inning.  Texas finished with 15 hits while Boston
ended up with 9.  
 
Neftali Feliz(1-0) went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the win.
Alfredo Aceves(0-1) ended up with the loss in relief.  He served up 4 gopher
balls in 2 innings.
