Brett Wallace hit 2 doubles and had 4 RBI at Progressive Field as the Houston
Astros pulled off a dramatic comeback beating the Cleveland Indians by the
count of 6 to 4.

Houston came through with the game-winning runs in the top of the 9th inning
plating 3 runs using 4 hits. After an out was recorded, Jordan Schafer
kicked off the action when he stroked a base-hit. Jose Altuve struck out,
unable to help the rally. Matt Downs then laced a single. Carlos Lee
stepped in and he banged out a single. Wallace stepped into the box and
doubled. Houston ended up with 12 hits for the game while Cleveland had 9.

David Carpenter(1-1) allowed no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Mark Melancon recorded the save, his 3rd. Vinnie Pestano(0-1) took
the loss in relief. He allowed 3 hits and no walks in 2 and 1/3 innings.

Brad Mills was all smiles after the game, 'To pull a game out in your last at
bats, is a beautiful feeling - and did you see how quiet it got out there?
You could have heard a pin drop when we took the lead. But, hey, that's what
makes baseball so great - as the great sage Yogi Berra says, 'it's not over
'til its over.'
