Derek Holland blanked Boston allowing just 2 hits and Josh Hamilton had 4 hits
and 3 RBI at Fenway Park where the Texas Rangers beat the Boston Redsox by
the score of 7 to 0.
 
Hamilton enjoyed a big day at the plate.  He doubled knocking in a run in the
1st inning, doubled bringing in two baserunners in the 3rd inning, doubled in
the 5th inning and doubled in the 7th inning.  Texas had a total of 14 hits
for the game.  
 
Holland(1-0) was credited with the shutout. The loss was charged to Clay
Buchholz(0-1).  He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 5 hits and 2
walks in 2 innings.  
 
'I had my good stuff today.' Holland said. 'As the game went along I started
to get the feeling that I was going to strike out a bunch of hitters.'
