Third baseman Brett Lawrie left the yard and had 3 RBI as the Toronto Bluejays
outscored the Baltimore Orioles 9 to 3.
 
Lawrie had a big day at the plate. He doubled in the 2nd inning and clubbed a
three-run home run in the 4th inning.  Toronto totaled 10 hits on the
afternoon.  
 
Brett Cecil(1-0) went 5 and 2/3 innings allowing 2 runs for the victory. Cecil
got relief help from Jesse Litsch who gained credit for his 1st save.  Jeremy
Guthrie(1-1) was the losing pitcher.  He was knocked around, surrendering 8
runs in 7 and 2/3 innings.
