Carlos Carrasco had a strong outing as the Cleveland Indians defeated the
Houston Astros by the score of 4 to 2 at Minute Maid Park.
 
Cleveland scored the decisive runs in a big top of the 9th inning scoring 2
runs.  Asdrubal Cabrera started the inning off right when he reached on an
error.  After an out was recorded, Grady Sizemore came to bat and doubled.
Carlos Santana then hit a deep fly.  Jack Hannahan struck out, unable to help
the rally.  Both teams totaled 6 hits on the afternoon.  
 
Joe Smith(1-0) got the win allowing no runs in 2/3 of an inning. Chris Perez
earned the save, his 1st.  David Carpenter(0-1) ended up with the loss in
relief.  He was a hard-luck loser as he did not allow an earned run in his 2
innings of work.
