Nate Schierholtz cracked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at Wrigley Field as the
Chicago (NL) Cubs beat the Philadelphia Phillies 9 to 2.
 
Schierholtz had a big day at the plate.  He lifted one out of the park for a
two run home run in the 2nd inning and bombed a two-run dinger in the 5th
inning.  Chicago (NL) had 10 hits for the game and Philadelphia had 6.
 
Jeff Samardzija(2-3) picked up the victory, allowing 2 runs in 8 and 2/3
innings. Cole Hamels(1-4) was charged with the loss.  He gave up 5 runs and 6
hits in 1 and 2/3 innings.
