In a good matchup it was the Philadelphia Phillies 5, the San Diego Padres 2
at Citizens Bank Park.
 
Domonic Brown provided much of the offense.  He clubbed a solo home run in the
2nd inning, doubled scoring two baserunners in the 6th inning and lined a
one-base hit which scored a run in the 8th inning.  San Diego was out-hit by
Philadelphia, 11 hits to 7.  
 
Jonathan Pettibone(3-1) went 8 and 1/3 innings allowing 2 runs for the win.
Jonathan Papelbon gained credit for his 3rd save.  Tyson Ross(2-2) ended up
with the loss.  He allowed 8 hits and 1 walk in 7 innings.
