Top 7th: Willie Bloomquist robbed Jack Cust of an extra base hit.

Carlos Gonzalez had 3 base hits and 2 RBI and Dana Eveland was able to finish
what he started and was credited with a complete game as the Seattle Mariners
were badly beaten by the Oakland A's, 18 to 2.

The game started off with Oakland taking the lead in the first when they
tallied 5 runs on 5 hits. The early run support proved sufficient for
Eveland(1-5) and Oakland. That was all the run support Eveland required.
Oakland bats were very productive in the 1st inning with 5 runs on 5 hits and
the 7th inning with 11 runs on 7 hits. Oakland totaled 17 hits on the
afternoon.

R.A. Dickey(0-1) was the loser.
