Derek Lowe(1-1) and Carlos Zambrano(0-1) treated the Atlanta fans to a fine
pitching duel at Turner Field. The Atlanta Braves eventually emerged as
victors over the Chicago (NL) Cubs by the score of 2 to 1.

Lowe earned his pay with a solid performance for Atlanta. He went 6 and 2/3
innings allowing 5 hits and no walks. Lowe struckout 8 Chicago (NL) batters
reducing his ERA from 3.60 to 2.31. Atlanta had only 5 hits for the
afternoon.

Craig Kimbrel was credited with his 2nd save.
