In a game for the baseball purist, Jason Hammel(2-1) and Tim Lincecum(1-2)
squared off in a tense pitching duel, Colorado Rockies finally emerged
victorious over San Francisco Giants, 3 to 1.

Hammel pitched well for Colorado in their victory. He went 7 innings and
surrended up 5 hits and 2 walks. The pitchers took over after the 3rd inning
as neither team was able to score again.

Huston Street earned the save, his 3rd. Colorado now has a record of 5-7.
With the loss, the San Francisco ballclub's record is 17-9.
