Daniel Hudson went 8 and two third strong innings as the Arizona club
outscored the San Francisco Giants 3 to 0.

Hudson(2-2) was tremendous on the mound for Arizona. He didn't allow much,
just 5 hits and no walks in 8 and 2/3 innings improving his ERA from 5.18 to
4.10. Arizona and San Francisco each finished the afternoon with 6 hits.

J.J. Putz preserved the game for Hudson, recording his his 4th. Tim
Lincecum(0-1) was tagged with the loss. He gave up 3 runs and 6 hits in 8
innings.
