Casper Wells had 2 base hits and 2 RBI at SAFECO Field as the Seattle Mariners
beat the Houston Astros by the count of 5 to 3.
 
Houston was unable to climb back into it after Seattle went ahead for good in
the 6th inning when they scored 2 runs on 1 hit.  The highlight belonged to
Kyle Seager who excited the crowd when he singled scoring two baserunners.
Seattle out-hit Houston for the game, 6 hits to 3.  
 
Jason Vargas(3-1) got the win allowing 3 runs in 7 innings. Tom Wilhelmsen was
credited with his 5th save.  Wandy Rodriguez(3-4) was hit with the loss.
