Andruw Jones stepped up to the plate and he cleared the fences for a two-run
home run resulting in an exciting win for New York (AL) and a wild post-game
celebration by the home town fans.  Chicago (AL) was out-hit by New York
(AL), 12 hits to 8.  
 
The win went to Rafael Soriano(2-0) who allowed 1 run in 1 inning. Matt
Thornton(0-2) was the loser in relief.  He surrendered 2 runs and 1 hit in
1/3 of an inning.
