Left fielder Lance Berkman had 4 hits and 2 RBI as the Houston Astros
outscored the Colorado Rockies in 11 innings 6 to 2.

The score was knotted at 2 after nine innings. Finally, Houston pulled the
game out in the 11th inning. The big moment was provided by Berkman who
deflated the mood of the partisan fans when he cracked a two-run shot (his
4th of the season). Houston rapped out 11 hits for the afternoon.

The win went to Brad Lidge(3-0) who allowed no runs in 3 innings. Jose
Acevedo(0-2) ended up with the loss in relief. Houston scored big getting 4
runs off him in 2 innings.

With this win, Houston has a 12-7 record. They have been 6-4 lately. With
the loss, Colorado has a record of 4-6 lately, 4-12, worst in the division
overall.
