Olmedo Saenz had 2 base hits as the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers staged a dramatic
comeback over the slumping San Francisco Giants by a score of 3 to 2 at
Dodger Stadium.

Los Angeles(NL) had the winning rally in the 9th inning scoring 2 runs
utilizing 4 base hits. Dioner Navarro opened up the inning nicely when he
doubled. Ricky Ledee stepped into the batter's box and he stroked a one-base
hit. After an out was recorded, Saenz stepped up to the plate and he doubled
resulting in a run. J.D. Drew followed and he slapped a base-hit making Los
Angeles(NL) victorious to the delight of the the home town crowd. Los
Angeles(NL) had 9 hits for the afternoon.

The winning pitcher was Duaner Sanchez(2-1) who allowed no runs in 2 innings.
The loss was charged to Armando Benitez(0-2) in relief. 'That was
exciting!,' Saenz said. 'I would have paid money to watch this one.'
