The Milwaukee Brewers edged the ice-cold Cincinnati Reds in 11 innings at
Miller Park by the score of 5 to 4.

The game was deadlocked at 4 after nine full innings. Milwaukee was
victorious in the 11th inning. After an out was recorded, Russell Branyan
laced a base-hit. Mike Rivera stepped into the batter's box and he delivered
a single. Joe Dillon then slapped a one-base hit giving Milwaukee the win
and sending the home town fans into a frenzy. Both teams totaled 11 hits on
the afternoon.

Seth McClung(3-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2/3 of an inning.
The loss was charged to Jeremy Affeldt(0-1) in relief. He gave up 3 hits and
no walks in 1/3 of an inning.
