The San Francisco Giants defeated the Colorado Rockies by a score of 4 to 1 at
Coors Field.

San Francisco started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half
of the first scoring one runner. After two were out Randy Winn providing the
offense himself as he belted a solo home run (his 1st of the season). San
Francisco finished with 9 hits while Colorado ended up with 6.

The victory was credited to Barry Zito(1-1) who went 6 and 2/3 innings,
allowing 1 run. Zito got help from Brian Wilson who was credited with his 1st
save. Jorge De La Rosa(1-1) was charged with the loss. He gave up 7 hits
and 4 walks in 7 innings.
