Miguel Tejada had 3 base hits as the Houston Astros outscored the Washington
Nationals 6 to 3.

Houston came up with 3 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning when they had 4

on the next pitch and he stole second. Tejada was a strikeout victim, unable
to help out. Lance Berkman was up next and he doubled. Carlos Lee came to
the plate and bombed a two-run dinger (his 3rd of the season). After another
out, Hunter Pence came up and he banged out a single. That was all Wandy
Rodriguez(2-1) needed. Washington was out-hit by Houston, 13 hits to 10.

Jose Valverde was credited with his 5th save. Jason Bergmann(0-2) was given
